Last week PKB Accountants hosted a successful and informative event for business owners.

Taking place on the 6th of May 2016 at HSBC at the Thames Valley Business Centre in Reading, ‘Your Business…You’re Not Alone’ was a free event that allowed guests to discover more information about current and relevant topics for their business.

The session acted as a valuable tool for business owners and a number of topics were covered including:

Access to finance – the best way new and existing companies can secure funding from the bank, what prevents a credit application from being approved and new lending campaigns.

Auto enrolment – the processes and pitfalls.

Pensions – are they really that simple?

Sole trader versus limited company – where do you begin when deciding on the right business structure for you?

The session was a great success and we have received some fantastic feedback from our attendees.

“The event included helpful and relevant presentations with options for follow-up. I also enjoyed networking with other local business people.”

Director of Anatello Ltd

“The information on a range of topics was clear and objective. There was no sense that PKB was touting for business.

I found the session on ‘Limited Company versus Sole Trader’ particularly useful. The venue was ideal for me and the presenters were very welcoming and professional. I’d recommend anyone with a small business to attend.”

Rob Crompton, Rob Crompton International

“Overall, I found the event very enjoyable and useful. I particularly liked the format with short presentations being given by experts followed up by the Q&A session. It was good to meet some of the PKB team and the venue at HSBC was also great.”

Colin Stewart, Director of Caversham Analytics
