Client Bookkeeper

We are looking for a Client Bookkeeper to join our team.  You will be providing support with general bookkeeping, preparation of VAT returns, management account reporting and various other duties.

 

Key deliverables:

  • Bookkeeping processing and analysis
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns, to meet all compliance deadlines
  • Preparation of management data, whilst meeting client expectations
  • Payroll processing
  • General office duties, as required

 

Skills and experience required:

  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Level 5/Grade C or above)
  • Part-qualified AAT (level 2/3) is preferable but not essential
  • 1-2 years’ experience in bookkeeping or data processing
  • Knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, Sage is preferable
  • Sound knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills (e.g., telephone, face-to-face and email)
  • Good attention to detail
  • Open to learning new systems and processes
  • Above all – a team player!

 

You will enjoy working as part of a team and helping others out when needed. The ability to build excellent relationships with your colleagues and clients is vital in this role.
