Last month we brought you Updates about the Small Business Recovery Grant.

Now we detail where to find more information on the application process, including the information you will need to have ready to submit an expression of interest (EoI).

The Restart and Recovery Grant has been created, specifically to help SMEs to adapt and diversify following the impact of COVID-19. Funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), eligible SMEs can access grants of between £1,000 – £3,000 (up to £5,000 in exceptional circumstances) for specialist advice such as HR, accountants, legal, financial, IT and digital.  Grants may also be used to purchase minor equipment to adapt or adopt new technology in order to continue to deliver business activity or diversify.

The grant scheme will open on Tuesday 15 September 2020 at midday, it is not open for Expressions of Interest (EoI) at this time. However, you can find further details on the application process, including the information you will need to have ready to submit an expression of interest (EoI) through your local business hub’s website.

Please review the pre-application information on the website to ensure you are prepared for when the scheme opens. Funding is extremely limited and we expect the scheme to be very popular, so expressions of interest should be made as soon as possible after the scheme opens. Decisions will be made on a first come, first served basis, and the gateway diagnostic will close when the expression of interest limit has been reached.

If you have any questions about the Small Business Recovery Grant, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with PKB and we’ll be more than happy to help.
