The Recovery Loan Scheme (RLS) was introduced by the UK government following the disruption that COVID-19 brought to businesses up and down the country.

As all COVID restrictions have been lifted for a few months now, The RLS will be coming to an end on 30 June 2022.

What is the Recovery Loan Scheme (RLS)?

The RLS has been designed to help UK businesses grow and recover from the disruption caused by the pandemic and the lockdowns that followed.

It enables businesses of any size to access loans and other kinds of finance up to £10 million. The actual amount offered and the terms, are at the discretion of participating lenders.

Loans are available through a network of accredited lenders which are listed on the British Business Bank’s website. To find out more, please head to their website.

Can I still apply for a loan?

The Recovery Loan Scheme will accept applications until 30 June 2022.

For more information about the scheme, please visit the gov.uk website or get in touch with PKB and we’ll be happy to help.
