As an employer running a payroll, there are a number of duties you need to fulfil in order to ensure you’re complying with HMRC regulations. This includes:
- Reporting to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) on the previous tax year (this ends on 5 April 2023)
- Giving your employees a P60
- Preparing for the new tax year, which starts on 6 April 2023
Below is a helpful breakdown of everything you need to do when running a payroll and when this should be completed by.
